'Mum's The Word!' - Brush-Baby Kids Electric Toothbrush Makes The Made For Mums Shortlist

Made For Mums Awards 2022

Did you know that the first product in the Brush-Baby range (our chewable first baby toothbrush) was designed by a mum?

This baby teether and toothbrush helps soothe your little one’s irritated gums, whilst still allowing you to brush their teeth/mouth. The bristles on the end also acts as a newborn tongue cleaner, meaning you can remove any milky residue and prevent that bad milky baby breath! We now stock a large variety of children’s dental products, from milk teeth toothpaste to kids electric toothbrushes!

Dominique Tillen, Founder and MD of Brush-Baby Ltd, is the woman and mum (!) behind the Brush-Baby brand, which makes the recent announcement of the BabySonic kids electric toothbrush and SoftBrush, being included on the Made for Mums 2022 shortlist, so special.

As Dominique explains: "I just knew that other mums were experiencing similar problems to me when it came to brushing their little one's teeth. I wanted to do the best for my baby, but was frustrated by the lack of products on offer, so I designed the type of toothbrush that I was looking for - a Chewable first baby Toothbrush! It give me immense satisfaction to know that others mums have benefited from my personal experience and we have used their feedback to  develop additional products within our range."

The Made for Mums Awards are recognised for their attention to detail in the judging and submission process, with companies justifying why their products are 'problem-solvers' for parents, and are then 'put through their paces with a group of mum testers.

Concluding Dominique says "Obviously we would love to win an award, who wouldn't?  However, it's great that children's oral health is featuring in such notable awards. Gums and teeth are intrinsic to a child's overall wellbeing, helping them to eat, drink and speak, but are often overlooked, so we're delighted for Brush-Baby to be known as the brand keeping happy smiles, healthy!'
