Our Story

Hello I’m Dominique.

Brush-Baby was inspired by my little girl who chewed her toothbrush. 

With a sister for a dentist I was well aware how important it was to keep my little girl’s baby teeth clean and gums healthy. I was careful about what she ate and wanted to teach her that good oral hygiene habits (including liking her dentist!) could be fun, healthy and cool.

But tooth-brushing time could be a real battle! She would chew her toothbrush, if I could get it into her mouth at all. What I needed was a toothbrush that would clean her teeth as she chewed. I was not alone; our first product the Brush-Baby Chewable Toothbrush, known as the ‘Brush-Baby’, was an immediate success and is now sold worldwide.

We think it’s important to realise that babies, toddlers and young children have very different dental-care needs to our own and cannot care for their own teeth properly.  So, we’ve developed a range of dental-care product with babies, toddlers and young children in mind. Products that suit their developing dentition as well as their ability to care for their own teeth. We’ve put these together in an easy-to-follow 3-step pathway to good dental-care that is supported by dentists and trusted by mums.
